Joseph Gabriel

Joseph Gabriel provides implementation support services to Journey’s Dream, including the website and support systems and data, developing procedures, and providing clarity for seemingly complex activities, thereby making the most of technology investments. He is a person of great integrity, persistence, and resourcefulness. Over the course of his 40-year career in information systems, Joseph distinguished himself as a “go-to” person who gets things done. He has worked as a developer and manager at small software development firms, functioned at the VP-level at large financial services Corporations, co-founded a $10 million systems staffing company, and remains involved in part-time independent consulting advising and coaching small business owners.

Joseph’s interest in mental health began in his early twenties, when he experienced severe anxiety disorder and depression. After 4 years of barely getting by, he experienced a powerful spontaneous awakening that instantly transformed him into full mental health. He is currently writing a book about his life and experiences.
Joseph lives in Chicago in a high-rise condominium on the shore of Lake Michigan. He enjoys walking and biking in nature, meaningful conversation, reading (mostly spiritual books), volunteering on the Board of his condo and other community organizations, and partaking in activities that Chicago has to offer. He attended College of DuPage, University of Illinois in Chicago, and Northern Illinois University. He has a daughter and son who live in the Los Angeles area.
